Not only is Ross From Friends possibly the best name ever for a DJ, he’s really good, and on the Brainfeeder label which is known for high quality electronic beats (most notably Flying Lotus). I saw Ross and a few others at a warehouse in DTLA last night – if you’re into that sort of thing, Resident Advisor is, from my understanding, the go-to source. The house was packed which kind of sucked, but the music was A+. Ross played with a live band and the accompanying video looked pretty darn sweet when I was able to catch a glimpse between the heads of tall people in front of me.
